Bee
Drinker

- Description -

We hear so much about the importance of bees and how planting wildflowers and reducing pesticides can greatly help their populations and productivity; but there are also much smaller problems we can address to help them out. You may see bees landing to drink, either from swimming pools, bird baths, or any container you may have in your garden, but these sources are often deep and once a bee falls in, they struggle to climb back out up steep sides. Simply putting pebbles in a bird bath can help the insects out as it provides landing pads and shallow zones to climb out of. Alternatively, my design provides a shallow plate of water which the bees can drink from, while the water is automatically topped up from a container in the middle. Decorated with flowers and a bee sat on top, this product makes a decorative ornament for the garden while also helping out bees and other insects.
