The upcycling project took an old coffee table and upgraded its overall appearance, removing the water and coffee stains, while keeping its wooden appearance. Instead of covering stubborn water rings with paint, an intricate floral design was drawn, flowers disguising the circular marks left behind. This was then scanned, and laser cut into the tables surface and filled with rose gold acrylic to make the table surface level again. The final product shows a renewed piece of furniture that keeps the simplicity of the wood while drawing the eye to the decoration on the top.
